Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam donates his ancestral home to Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Math

Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam has donated his ancestral home to Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Math on Wednesday. The house is located in his home town Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, where he was born on June 4, 1946.
On Wednesday, editor S Gurumurthy posted a video of SP Balasubrahmanyam singing a devotional song in the presence of Kanchi Acharya Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi at his home in Nellore on his Twitter page. It is learnt that the house worth is crores of rupees and the veteran singer just donated it for a good cause.



SP Balasubramaniam famous singer has donated his ancestral home at Nellore to Kanchi Math. He is singing in the presence of Kanchi Acharya Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi at his home in Nellore which he donated.

Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam, popularly known as SP Balu, is also a music director, actor, dubbing artist and film producer. In a career span over five decades, the artist has recorded more than 40,000 songs in 16 Indian languages. He has received National Film Awards for Best Male Playback Singer six times for his work in films. The singer was also awarded the Padma Shri in 2001 and Padma Bhushan in 2011 by the Government of India.

The singer continues to win hearts with his songs like Nuvvu Naatho Emannavo from Disco Raja, Dhummu Dholi from Darbar, Pallello Kalavundi from Yatra, Mriganayana from Gautamiputra Satakarni, Niluvade Madi Niluvade from Sathamanam Bhavati and others.
